Add the election vote count(statistics) that the official has run, it will show the how many voted, per region or per city if that is possible.
It is requested to add a dedicated system that allows contributors to submit requests for editing or updating official records. Currently, only the person who originally posted the record or C4GG staff can make edits, which limits contributors’ ability to correct or update important information. Examples of needed edits include: 1. Adding missing profile photos 2. Correcting or updating names or small details 3. Updating the status for officials who passed away during their term Additionally, the existing feature for updating deceased officials is not easily visible, making it difficult for contributors to access. A structured “edit request” system would allow contributors to report necessary changes without directly modifying the record themselves.
I suggest adding a search bar on the home page that allows users to quickly search for specific politicians. Users could type the name of a politician and instantly see matching results, including their profile, background information, and related records available on the platform. The search could also support partial names and show suggestions as the user types. This would make it easier for users to find information without navigating through multiple pages or lists.
Currently, it is possible for the same official to be added multiple times on the website, and some officials’ profiles do not include photos. This can lead to duplicate entries and incomplete records, which affects the professionalism and clarity of the website. It is recommended that the system: 1. Prevent the addition of duplicate officials by checking existing records before allowing a new entry or adding a system that requires all officials sent by contributors to be approved by a moderator to populate the list of offical record. 2. Require a profile photo for every new official added to the system. This ensures that each record is visually complete and improves the overall appearance of the website. Having profile images for officials makes the website more professional and user-friendly, while controlling duplicates maintains accurate and organized records.
Since this platform is used to expose or present the good/bad deeds made by the politician, I suggest to have an option to become anonymous before commenting, in this way all members will not hesitate to tell the comment the truth, they will not fear that politicians will take revenge against them
i noticed that no notification from the moderation action for creating official
Some officials listed in the C4GG records currently do not have profile images attached to their official records. This makes it difficult for users to visually identify or recognize the official when browsing or reviewing the database. It is requested that the system allow contributors to upload and attach profile images to officials who currently do not have one. Additionally, it may be helpful if the system requires a profile image when creating a new official record. This would ensure that all newly added officials include a visual identification. Allowing or requiring images for official records would improve the completeness and presentation of the data within the platform.
Dumoble ang mga senators sa homepage, dalawang araw na ito ganito.
When creating or editing a deed record, users must search and select an official and their position from a list. Currently, the names in this list appear to be displayed in an unorganized order, which makes it difficult to locate a specific official. It would be helpful if the list of officials in the search or selection field were organized in alphabetical order. This improvement would make it easier and faster for users to find the correct official, especially when the list contains many names. Without alphabetical organization, users often need to scroll through a long and disordered list, which slows down the process of creating or editing deed records.
masyadong mahaba yung drop down pag nagseselect na ng officials/people sa submission ng deeds. tried a test deed submission kay PBBM on a popular law he passed yung anti pogo.
While creating a new deed record, the system requires selecting an official from the existing officials list. However, some officials who are already registered in the database do not appear in the selection list during this process. For example, the official Vicente R. De Jesus exists in the officials database and can be found through the officials search page. However, when attempting to add a deed and search for the same official in the selection field, the name does not appear in the list. Because the official already exists in the records but cannot be selected when creating a deed entry, this may indicate a data synchronization or filtering issue between the officials database and the deed creation form.
Some profile images appear to be disappearing after they were previously uploaded and visible on the website. While browsing through several pages, I noticed that a few officials who previously had profile pictures on their official records no longer display those images. In addition, I experienced a similar issue with my own user account. After registering on the website and setting a profile picture, the image disappeared after approximately two days. I had to upload the profile picture again to restore it. This behavior suggests that images may not be consistently stored, cached, or loaded correctly after a certain period of time.
