Senate President Pro Tempore
With the current issues faced by the government, we cannot trust a for a fast and immediate recovery with this kind of leadership.
I gave Martin Romualdez a negative rating because there no longer seems to be real justice for those who steal from the public coffers, and the people have already lost their trust in most of the nation’s politicians.
Secretary of Education
The VP is the most trusted national government official right now.

I’ve reached a point where I just can’t trust President Marcos Jr. anymore. It’s hard to stay silent when you see the same old patterns of abuse of power and systemic corruption being rebranded as progress. If you look at the facts of the last two years, it’s clear the priorities are all wrong. 1. Blatant Corruption and the "Ghost" Project Scandals The most insulting part is the corruption happening right in front of us. We just went through the 2025 Flood Control Scandal, where billions of pesos were funneled into "ghost" projects and substandard work while our streets were literally underwater. Even after the "Trillion Peso March" and the "Baha sa Luneta" protests in late 2025 and early 2026, the administration still pushed through a 2026 budget with ₱243 billion in unprogrammed funds. They call it "discretionary," but we all know it’s just a massive pork barrel with no accountability. How can we trust a leader who laments "shameful" corruption in public but signs off on the same opaque budgets in private? 2. A Total Lack of Real Economic Planning While the government talks about a "New Philippines," the numbers tell a different story. In 2025, our economic growth hit a 14-year low at 4.4% (excluding the pandemic). Foreign investment has dropped by nearly half because investors see the instability and the graft. Instead of a master plan for long-term growth, we’re seeing: Misprioritization: We are spending more on flood control "ghosts" than on building schools or supporting the tech and manufacturing sectors. Inflationary Pressure: Prices are still biting, and the government's response feels like a series of reactive band-aids rather than a vision for self-sufficiency. 3. A Government Obsessed with Political Vendettas The most frustrating part is that this doesn’t even feel like a presidency—it feels like a dynastic war. The government seems completely obsessed with bringing down the Dutertes and their allies. We watched the administration use Interpol and the ICC to go after Rodrigo Duterte in early 2025. Regardless of what people think of the former president, the timing and the "procedurally questionable" way it was handled felt like a political hit, not a pursuit of justice. The impeachment of Sara Duterte and the constant purging of anyone not aligned with the "Marcos-Romualdez" circle shows that the goal isn't to lead the country; it’s to eliminate the 2028 competition. The Bottom Line A real president focuses on the people’s welfare, not on settling scores or protecting a cousin’s political interest in the House. Between the plummeting growth, the return of the "pork barrel," and the obsession with political infighting, I don’t see a plan for the Philippines. I just see a plan for the Marcos family to stay in power.
