Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez Sr.

Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez, Sr. (born November 14, 1963) is a Filipino politician, lawyer, and businessman. He currently represents Leyte's 1st congressional district, a position he has held since 2019 and previously from 2007 to 2016. He notably served as the 28th Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives from July 2022 until September 2025, and as House Majority Leader from 2019 to 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University, a Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines.
