Jennifer Narvaez Austria-Barzaga

Barzaga’s public career began as a barangay councilor of San Simon (1997). Elected mayor in 2007, she led the campaign that elevated Dasmariñas from a municipality to city status in 2009, becoming its first city mayor. After three consecutive terms, she served as Cavite’s 4th District representative (2016–2019) before returning as mayor in 2019. Re-elected in 2022 and 2025, she has accumulated over 14 years in the city’s top executive office.
