Maing Baterina (officially Ismael Baterina) is a politician from Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is currently serving as a Provincial Board Member (Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member or SPM) for the First District of Ilocos Sur. The Baterina family has a long history in Ilocos Sur politics. He is related to the late Salacnib F. Baterina, a former Representative of the 1st District who was instrumental in converting Vigan into a city. He is often referred to in official provincial greetings as "SPM Ismael 'Maing' Baterina".
