Edward Esperat Carranza Jr.

Edward “Ted” Carranza is a Filipino local government official serving as the Mayor of Silang, Cavite. He previously held the position of vice mayor before assuming the mayoralty in 2024 following the dismissal of then-mayor Kevin Anarna by the Office of the Ombudsman. Carranza initially served as acting mayor during the suspension of the mayor and later formally took office after the dismissal ruling.
